CANADA 1998

November 25, 1998 5:00 PM - Buffalo, NY
So I am sitting here waiting for them there boys to call me.  Jeanine and I are gonna meet them in Buffalo.  We have all kindsa goodies, such as pop, candy, donuts, and all that for them!  I am really excited to get to meet everyone.  So far, the only one I have met is Sean, in Hoboken; at the Donnas show a couple of weeks ago.  This should be a really interesting night.

All I have to say is HOLY FUCK!  I can't write too much right now because I
have a whole 3 hours to sleep before I have to get up and pack.  We are going to
Toronto and London.  Maybe Montreal too!  I will write more as the trip goes on!

November 26, 1998 6:00 PM - Toronto, ON
Today has been really interesting.  This morning we went out to Denny's for breakfast.  Today is Thanksgiving.  Last night was so nuts.  They called us at my house just as we had given up on them, and were about to head down to the Continental.  We went and met them at their hotel and hung out.

We ended up spending like 45 minutes looking for the keys, which I found under one of Guy's boots.  I was really nervous about meeting Guy, because from everything I have read about him, he seemed really intimidating. He was really nice and totally cool with us.  So we get to the Continental later on and they show me what I have to do.  I am the designated pyro-technician.  Adam and me drove around for a while looking for a place to park while Jeanine set up the merchandise.

The show itself, well, I rather would have been in the audience for my first show, but I was on the stage, at the side, getting ready to help out with all the special effects.  I had to light the torch, put out fires, run the smoke machine, and set off the confetti cannon.  Doesn't sound like a whole lot, but it is.  I was just so crazy about being there, and I couldn't believe it when I dropped the lighter fluid under the stage.  I was so nervous trying to get it in time to give it to Sean, but I did it, I don't know how I got my arm under there.

After the show we hung out for a while and basically, they asked us to come with them to the rest of the shows.  There are three.  Tonight, in Toronto, tomorrow, in London, and then Saturday in Montreal.  Jeanine is still not sure about Montreal, but I hope we go!  So we had to get up at like 8 this morning, I had to pack like a hurricane, then we went to breakfast with the guys. I can't wait to see the show tonight.  It seems like a really cool place and I have a great feeling about the show tonight.  Only a few more hours to go!

November 27, 1998 - London, ON
Today was quite a day!  We drove to London, from Toronto.  We left pretty late, so I was a little bit nervous about the 2.5 hour drive across the 401 West, but we got there in good time!  The show from last night was I N C R E D I B L E and I am still buzzing from it.  I think the show in London tonight will be really good, and we met some cool people from here that we are going to hang out with for a while. I am  really amused.  On our way here, we stopped at this gas station/truck stop/restaurant in this little town called PUTNAM.  Here, Sean bought this hysterical hat.  They wanted $10 for it, and Sean, being the witty guy that he is, blew on it, and brown dust just fell all over the place.  He paid $5 for it in the end.  Not bad, and it is quite stylin'.  We all ordered stuff, and took a bunch of pictures.  I think the local folk were just a little excited and wierded out about the 7 of us hanging out in their establishment.  For the record, I would also like to note that they had 2 big dogs on the roof!

Then Rocket and Sean take me to Solid Gold 2, my very first trip to a strip joint.  People were looking at us like we were crazy.  I mean you have me, Rocket, and Sean.  I actually didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I was going to, because they had a real lack of tattooed rock girls, and the dancers were stripping to Whitney Houston.  I have never wanted to get naked to "I'm Your Baby Tonight." Then we just spent the rest of the time hanging out and Adam drew some sick shit on the walls. The show is going to start soon and I am really excited so I better go get ready to rocnkroll.

November 28, 1998 - En Route to Montreal
Well, the show last night did not disappoint.  We hung out with Michelle and her boyfriend, AL, and they are a fucking TRIP.  I laughed my ass off. Michelle gets drunk and really fucking rowdy, which is hilarious.  The Toilet Boys loved her.  She kept telling us about this chick Meats Moran, I guess she was a butcher…  But I really don't know what else she was going on about.  It was really fucking funny, that's for sure.  We were there pretty late, and Sean wanted to drive right to Montreal but that would have been too much so we stayed at a hotel out side of London, and now we are in the car heading for Montreal.  I am really excited because I have never been there before. And I have heard amazing things about that place!

November 30, 1998 - Buffalo, NY
Well, finally I am home, and sadly, I missed seeing KISS here in Buffalo yesterday, but shit, it was pretty worth it if you ask me!  These last few days have been a total whirlwind for me.  I spent so much time in cars and hotels and clubs, and I am sad that it is actually over.  They say we are gonna do it again sometime and I wonder when that is going to happen!  They were the coolest guys, so approachable and so much fun to talk to and hang out with.  I totally can't wait to see them again!
